In Q1 2022, the top 5 Maps and Navigation apps in Qatar showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with around 6.3K downloads and peaking at 12.8K in the week of March 7. The app maintained a steady growth in active users, starting with approximately 86K and reaching around 92K by the end of March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a consistent rise in weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 3.9K and peaking at 5.8K in mid-March. Active users for Waze increased from about 235K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 244K in mid-March, showing a strong user retention rate.
